Little Elm runs a bi-weekly bulk pickup program tied to your address. No scheduling required, but there are specific placement rules and item restrictions you need to follow — or your stuff won't get picked up.
Mattresses, box springs, kitchen appliances, washers, dryers, drained water heaters, labeled refrigerators/freezers with refrigerant removed, bundled cardboard, carpet cut into 4-foot lengths, bundled limbs, and bagged brush.
Hazardous waste, car parts, tires, loose debris, and any items placed in the alley instead of the designated curbside area.
Bulk pickup happens on your regular trash/recycling day during your assigned bulk week. Depending on your address, you're either on the 1st/3rd week or 2nd/4th week schedule. Items must be placed in the grassy area between the sidewalk and the curb — even if your regular trash is picked up in the alley. Everything needs to be out by 7 a.m.
Self-Disposal Drop-Off: Courtesy Bulk Drop-Site — 1690 E. Eldorado Parkway, Little Elm, TX 75068. Fri 4–8 PM, Sat–Sun 8 AM – 5 PM (or until full). Bring a current utility bill and photo ID.
Household Hazardous Waste: Little Elm hosts bi-annual Clean & Green Waste Collection events (typically April and October) at the Public Works Service Center. Free for Little Elm residents.
